A large 4 bedded unit is provided in a modern (2005) attractive house close to the centre of Croydon in the quiet suburb of Sanderstead. The home is close to local shopping centres, leisure facilities and local transport routes to the city centre.

The unit is staffed and equipped to provide medium and long term care for children and young people between the ages of 10 and 18 who have a moderate to severe learning difficulties.

The accommodation comprises of four large bedrooms of which two are on the ground floor, suitable for those with some additional physical needs and each of which lead out into a secure rear garden. The two upstairs bedrooms are for those with greater mobility.

All the bedrooms allow adequate space for private activities and the storage of personal possessions and favourite toys/equipment. (Each young person has a lockable storage chest for treasured items).

Downstairs there is a large kitchen with an open dining area, a bathroom and seperate toilet facilities, a very large family room, a quiet room for music and receiving visitors and a utility room.

All downstairs rooms have wider doors are therefore accessible for those with disabilities.
Both the lounge and the kitchen lead out onto a very large patio and enclosed
garden offering space for games and other leisure activities.
